We decided to try every restaurant in this street while we were on holiday, however once we had our breakfast on day 3 we came here for just about every meal out!!!
We could not knock it. The staff are so friendly and good craic and the service was spot on!
Full breakfast - gorgeous and made my bacon crispy on request (just perfect)
I had the mini and the original McGill's breakfast and they were perfect on both occasions.
Steak night - oh my gosh! Best steak I've had in years. I like my steak well done which often leaves it a bit dry but the chef got it spot on. We did both steak nights because it was so yummy! (FYI Garlic potatoes as a side is highly recommended).
Afternoon tea - just lovely! Variety of tasty fillings in the sandwiches, lovely little tray bakes and freshly made warm scones that just melt in your mouth! Wasn't keen on the fresh cream instead of clotted but I nipped to the shop a few doors away for some clotted cream and it hit the spot. Oh and the mini triffles.... wow! Just lovely.
And to top it all off they do proper pot of tea, fruity cider and the best caramel vodka I have ever tasted! What more do you need! Ha ha.
