Sensational food and exceptional value.
Our party of eight each had a starter and a main. We were so full afterwards that we could only share the huge portion of cheesecake (which is not to be missed) between us.
The entrecôte steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. Two of us had the grilled squid which was huge, tender and perfectly seasoned. It wasn't on the menu and as such I thought it would be a "special" and on the expensive side. It was actually €15 which is outrageously cheap.
The waiter recommended a starter which was also not on the menu and was a centuries old traditional dish. It was a cold soup of wild white garlic with a centrepiece of grated wild black garlic. It was so subtle, mild and creamy I was in raptures.
All that food, four bottles of wine, liqueurs and coffee for €35 per head including service ?Staggering !
Highly recommend this place if you’re dining in San Pedro, Devine food, beautiful presentation and great service! Not to be missed!
Quite simply, this restaurant has everything. The food is great, Alberto, the owner, is an expert on the vinos and sherries of Spain and the Flamenco vibe has real duende. (Spirit) Do not come to San Pedro without visiting this wonderful restaurant.
