Great restaurant in Palma. The food is absolutely amazing and the interior of the whole Restaurant is also great. If you go there you have to try the lemon cake for dessert.

They have tapas sized mini dishes at the end of the menu that we almost missed - especially loved the mini Hamburger and the baked Camembert.
We'll definitely come back the next time we're on the island.
Loved this restaurant so much we ate here twice. The staff made it an outstanding experience both times we were here and we noticed that a local guide had a group there for dinner on our 2nd night, which always speaks to the quality.
We chose two different fresh sole dinner sized dishes our first time and I got a shrimp tempura pintxos with chili sauce I loved. I went with more tapas style fare on night 2 and my husband got their burger which he had eyed on our first visit.
Price points and wine selections were great and service couldn't have been better!
I have found cheaper pinchos in the area but these were by far my favorite. The quality of the food in terms of fresh ingredients, taste, uniqueness, and pinchos that were actually freshly cooked and hot seemed above average in this restaurant. It is a larger restaurant so there were a lot of seating options. The ambiance was reminiscent of a tea room and very relaxing.
We ordered the following pinchos:
Flavoured cauliflower & vegetables on a skewer (this was cold and I would have preferred warm), Mushrooms stuffed with meat and blue cheese sauce (this was amazing but only one mushroom, not 'mushrooms' as described), Cuttlefish miniburger with alioli & black bread (very interesting flavor), and "La Botana" cod fish au gratin with garlic cream mousse (delicious!).
We also enjoyed the Grilled mushrooms with garlic & parsley tapas and Bread with tomato.
We LOVED La Botana in every single way. Food was great, service was excellent. They were super friendly to our kids and even had easier hours to accommodate families. Everything we had there was perfect. Even the Sangria was terrific. La Botana is likely to be the one place we visit twice during our trip to Palma...it's just that good.
I ordered cuttlefish with salad and shrimp with olive oil & garlic. In general, the food is ok, except the salad is not very fresh. Service is quick, reasonable price.
Food is amazing, what's even better is the customer service. Decent prices for meals and bottles of wine. The perfect last meal in Mallorca.

Best restaurant in all of Palma. Every single dish, from the tapas and pinxtos we ordered were amazing. You should seriously not bother looking further than here for a place to eat, we are definitely coming back. Service is fantastic, the people working there are happy, smiling and observant with all guests. I would give them a higher score if possible!
I've been eating tapas for almost 2 weeks in Barcelona and Palma but I must say my experience at La Botana was one of the best. The food was excellent (tapas and local dishes) and the prices (with a bottle of house wine) were the best. I got my usual pulpos (octopus on potatoes) and bacon wrapped dates (very good) but I tried a daily special of pork cheek cooked in red wine (delicious!). The place had a tavern-like feel and it was full of couples and families. Their service was also very friendly. It is right behind Tast on Carrer Unio - I recommend this place over Tast for the excellent food AND attentive service.

El local está muy bien situado, y la carta es muy variada, a muy buenos precios. La carta de pinchos es muy variada, con pinchos de muy buen tamaño por unos 4 euros de media. Las raciones son muy grandes y tienen un precio medio de 20€.

Las ensaladas muy pero q muy ricas. Los pintxos mejorables. El sitio muy bonito y el servicio muy cordial y amable. Un pelin caro para lo que es, pero vale la pena probarlo.
Fuimos de tapas y todas espectaculares con mucha calidad, patatas 🥔 caseras y todo muy bueno , los huevos rotos buenísimos

Comer y rascar todo es empezar....y en La Botana podrías no parar nunca....totalmente recomendable tanto por calidad, ambiente, precio, trato...son muchas las razones para volver (que lo haremos). Perfecta la combinación y el manejo, tanto de cocina clásica, como fusión mejicana e incluso Thai.
Vine a este restaurante porque tenia reserva en otro justo al lado donde nadie nos atendió, así que improvisamos y vinimos a la botana, no teníamos reserva y la chica nos atendió apenas cruzamos la puerta, nos sentó en una mesa y la atención super rápida. Buen ambiente para cenar. Pedí un salmón con salsa teriyaki que la mezcla estaba espectacular con las verduras, mi pareja pidió un entrecot que estaba un poco dura la carne pero tenia un sabor delicioso también. Las camareras muy atentas a todas las mesas, todo muy bueno, nos salvaron la noche de San Valentín porque teníamos miedo de no tener reserva en otro lugar y que estuviera lleno, pero nos atendieron sin problema.

Genial tanto la comida, como la atención y el propio lugar. A destacar especialmente la mezcla y fusión de sabores (un 10 la salsa de los mejillones, con un toque de lima y leche de coco). Para compartir tostas y platos y sentirte como en casa. Hay que volver!!
