The meal i had here was included in my tour group package, we got to choose from a selected menu, i chose the risotto with fried garlic and olives and Hake loin with tomato confit, and a caramel custard (flan) for my dessert. The risotto was perfectly done, nice and creamy all the way thru but not mushy, i usually find them under done in most places. I was nervous about ordering the Hake because i don't really like tomatoes. I do like spaghetti sauce and all that stuff so i figured i'd take a chance, since my other options were pork and chicken and i was in the mood for fish. When it came out it was a very simple presentation, just the hake in a very thin tomato sauce. But after one bite, it was all good. The sauce was slightly sweet and not acidic as tomatoes can be, it was a perfect way to add a nice subtle sweet flavor yet still let the fish come thru. I found myself slathering the fish in the sauce before each bite. The caramel custard was delicious, nice and silky smooth and had a nice caramelized taste to it. Yum! I looked at the menu, it seemed pretty reasonable for what you get, you could easily get a good appetizer and entree for less than 20€. Nice atmosphere, good portion size, and reasonable.

The space is elegant and enormous. I could have been back home in NYC and not known the difference, except for the significantly cheaper prices and much more generous portion sizes here. For under 30€, I got the sheep's cheese salad, the chicken cous cous, a water and soda. The cous cous could have used a tad more seasoning, then again I was not in a Moroccan restaurant. Overall, the menu offers a great variety with almost unfair pricing considering how much food you get for how little you pay.

The ambiance was great. My husband and I sat in front by the window for lunch and it was lovely. Service was good and servers were helpful. We had the burrata starter and it was a large portion and excellent flavor. Make sure you ask for bread to go with it. I had the rigatoni which was ok and nothing exciting. He had the lomo rustica which he really enjoyed and said the pork was very tender. Overall a very nice lunch.

We did not eat in the dinning room - which looked really nice. Instead, we had coffee, hot chocolate, water and a bunch of snacks in their outside seating areas. It felt that we were actually sitting in the middle of street with cars / trucks passing us only a few feet away... interesting. We all ordered quite a bit of stuff and I was prepared for some real damages to my bottom line. It was an amazing pleasant surprise when I got the check! It was so reasonable that I decided to give the server a 5 Euro tips (which took a bit of convincing for her to take it). I must got the happy hour with big discount...!? I will come back here if I can find this place again.

Really enjoyed this place. I always want to find something that feels local, but also has good energy and a fun room. The food prices here are wonderfully reasonable and the portions rival American restaurants. The foot all tasted great and the presentation was lovely. Also, the staff were very friendly. If you enjoy wine, their wine list is extensive and very reasonable. Definitely order a bottle! Again, I do highly recommend for a solid Spanish meal. You will not go wrong with this place.

I give a strong four stars on the lunch at Ginger. You get a lot of value for the money, particularly Menu del Dia. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is pretty elegant, and I agree with some of the other comments that it feels a little bit like a restaurant in midtown Manhattan. But the menu and food are definitely Spanish! You won't be disappointed with your meal here.

This restaurant's decor is just lovely! Such a classy place and when you check out the menu you'll love it even more! The price for everything is just amazing! Extremely affordable because from the decor you would think it would be expensive! Dinner here was just a cherry on top to my trip to Madrid! I definitely will come back when I'm back in Spain and I also highly recommend everyone to check this place out when you're ever in Madrid!!! :)
