Found this place while walking around the streets, super low key but still very busy!
We only order a few bites but the seafood was extremely fresh!
Razor clams: seriously amazing, not over cooked at all!
Grilled prawns: sooo good, the heads were my favorite part
Pan con tomate: I felt like there was slightly more bread that I would like. But still really good!
Such a nice little tapa right around the corner of our hotel. We actually came here wanting to go somewhere else and were a bit lost on our way back looking for a restaurant. We saw this little tapa on the side and heard the music and ambiance and saw a jam packed place and said this has to be good so we decided to give it a try.
The ambiance was great! Good low music playing in the background while the customers were chatting away. Some of the tables were wine barrels with high chairs and my favorite, there was ham hanging all over the place, typical in Spain.
We enjoyed some wine about 4 glasses between two of us and decided to give the grilled octopus a try. Amazing!!! Made in the grill and severed with patatas(potatoes), the protein was so tasty and tender but not to chewy. It was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spice and the patatas really put a button on the dish. We were tapa hopping so didn't order more, but we would have. I definitely will come back if in Barcelona.
Love this hole in the wall place. We stumbled upon this little bar on the way to a different place and had to stop. The ambience is beautiful--all the doors were open and the decor was so unique (think barrel tables and meat legs hanging on the ceiling!). We ordered beer, patatas bravas (soo good! I loved the sauce), olives (i'm not a fan of olives but my husband loved them) and some pan con tomate (love the fresh tomatoes!). Definitely recommend!!
