Well after winning a competition in conjunction with Varkk we eventually got there for the Sunday Lunch prize. Now we don’t usually (never) have a Sunday lunch as I’d sleep for the day if I did, but it was great that they served up to 6pm, at which time we rocked up. Love the concept of preordering the food - menu was sent at booking & choices submitted. Brilliant for sustainability & preventing wastage. I chose squid & samphire (divine), roast beef & sticky toffee pud, hubster soup, mixed meat & deconstructed cheesecake. All excellent & large helpings (which is why 2hrs later I’m snoozing!) Had a teen with us who went for the burger menu & got a gorgeous cheese burger & he had waffle, strawberries, ice cream & choc sauce - teen dream food! Tks a mill Varkk Bar & Kitchen - La Fuente - Villamartin & Brenda - it was a great treat.
