Very tasty and fresh pasta for a good price - would love to come back. But the place is a bit crowded because of its high rating and good location.

We wanted to venture out off the path of Spanish food for the evening and very glad we came to La Pappardella. Yes we came a little early for dining at 830 but the place filled up very quickly. Staff was friendly and spoke Spanish, Italian and English. We started out with appetizer of ice cream waffle cone shaped pasties filled with a delicious chicken mix - cornettos di pollo, then went on to the pasta. The pesto tortelloni Zio in a cream sauce were fresh and delicious and came out nice and warm. The other dish of paparadelle Mari e Monti with mushrooms, tomatoes and shrimp was a tasty blend of flavors also. We had a glass of Sangiovese and a red from Alicante - both very acceptable and a decent pour for €3. Tab came to €34 so all in all a very good dinner. Most pasta are around €11-12. Came with complimentary limoncello with our check!

I had one of the best pasta dishes ever! The pasta itself was fine, not handmade, but the sauce was really amazing and well-rounded. I got the pappardelle with porcini and pistachios, seriously don't know what they added to the sauce but it was magnificent. Flavorful with umami. I was having a little bit of buyers remorse at first about not ordering the handmade raviolini but after one bite of my dish, I completely forgot about the remorse!

Absolutely fantastic service and gluten free food! I had the "menu" with veal carpaccio, Una copa de Vino tinto, Levriero, tarta de chocolate, and and espresso. Would absolutely return again.

This restaurant was magnificent. The food was so good and we didn't have to wait long at all! The staff was super friendly and the design of the place was fun! The location is super central and easy to find. I had the pasta with shrimps, gorgonzola and pumpkin and I enjoyed every bite. The wine, starters and main courses were all soo good!! Next time I'm in Valencia I definitely will return and try their other dishes (and maybe desserts!).

We had our first meal in Valencia here and it was exceptional. Home made pasta that melted in your mouth. It was a short walk from our apartment which is right in the middle of town. I could eat here everyday. The pasta with Gorgonzola and pancetta was incredible. We're going back here before we leave for Barcelona.

What an amazing place. I went for dinner here with a friend and we both loved every part of it. The restaurant design is fresh and funky, but the food is something else. We really went to town with our meal. The Cornetto Di Pollo was a taste sensation and so refreshingly presented and went perfectly with the delicious Verdure Fritte. We both love antipasto and the Antipasto All'Italiana was amazing. The best quality meat was coupled with vegetables and scamorza cheese that complemented it perfectly. For main course, I can't recommend anything more highly than the Ravioloni All Bufala and the Pappardelle Mari E Monti. We got one each and ended up sharing because both were sensational. We closed our eyes and felt like we were in an Italian kitchen with Mama cooking! The Ravilioni was homemade and was just so fresh and vibrant. The Pappardelle married the tastes of the sea and the mountains with wild mushrooms, fresh prawns and mantis shrimp. Just wonderful. Then there were the desserts. These look great and taste even better. We went for lemon meringue pie and carrot cake with vanilla icing. Once again, we just shared and ate some of both. It really is the only way to get around this amazing menu! I recommend you visit La Pappardella if you are in or near to Valencia. It is the best Italian restaurant in the city and just makes you feel as though you are having the authentic experience. Highly recommended for anyone.

Best Italian food we have had outside of Italy. Good service. Air conditioner was out upstairs but they warned us in advance and it was tolerable with the windows open.

On the suggestion of a server at another restaurant, we decided to eat here one evening. A local's opinion is a valued one and she did not miss her mark on this suggestion. I was mildly concerned it would be average since it was in the heart of touristy Valencia but I was wrong. Service was great - our waiter was friendly and very helpful and spoke excellent English. We had a round of cocktails and a couple of appetizers (the caesar salad was delicious). Most of us ordered pasta as our mains and they were excellent. One main was a salad and while it looked very pretty, overall it had a bit too much dressing on it. Aside from that, the food was flawless. Overall experience: excellent service and food, and reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for Italian food while in town..

I have visited this restaurant several times, and had a good experience each time. The multi-lingual waiters made it easy to communicate, and that alone makes it a solid tourist spot since it is so close to Ayuntamiento. The food here is predictable but enjoyable, and I have to admit that they do a spectacular cheese sauce. I would not go there on a weekend night without a reservation, though! Oh, and if you choose to sit outside, expect to be bombarded by street musicians, rose sellers, and the guys with the touristy items to hawk... they arrived at regular intervals trying to squeeze cash from you, which is kind of a bummer. What could have been a perfect evening dinner outdoors became a little more like fending off people so you can enjoy your meal.

A group of ten went here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken taco appetizer and honestly any of the pasta dishes (I went with the pesto spaghetti). The place is vibrant, and incredibly affordable compared to a lot of the other places in that area. It is walking distance from city center and by many tourist attractions. A few words of warning- they will charge you for water and refuse to serve tap, like most places in Valencia. It is also a rather small space so I don't recommend going with a big group.

This has got to be by far my favourite Italian restaurant in Valencia, but then again after living in Italy I have become rather sick and tired of Italian cuisine. It is miles away from those cheesy Italian restaurants with red and white checkered tablecloths and candles inside old wine bottles; don't expect any of those clichés here, expect instead decent Italian food in modern surroundings. I normally frequent this place for its reasonably priced Daily Menu (Menú del día) consisting of a choice of starters, main and pudding or coffee and including one drink for 9.90€. There are also other daily menus such as the Executive Menu (menú ejecutivo) which includes more and has more dishes to choose from for 12.90€; a Children's Menu (menú infantil) and also a Celiac Menu (menú celiacos). Service tends to be efficient and friendly. N.B. Ask for their loyalty card; for every 10 daily menus you get an Executive Menu on the house.

Recomendable 100%
