We went in the hair of the dog for a few drinks and a bite to eat with 10 friends and family, the staff were lovely, so helpful and organised the tables for us, and brought two fans over to keep us cool. We ate the full rack of ribs, burgers and kids meals, there wasn’t anything left when we finished, it was mouth watering! The drinks were cheap and the cocktails were tasty and strong! I would highly recommend this pub with the kids as they play bingo and sticky (bingo with playing cards)!

We had the best night visiting here, both ladies couldn’t do enough for us all. Service was just exceptional and the most friendly of staff! If you haven’t visited here already then you need too, great drinks and food at brilliant prices & everywhere was spotless clean too. Can’t thank the ladies enough for making our last night so brilliant, as soon as we are back this will be the first place we will be visiting again! Here we are my partner and I at the airport waiting to go home thinking about the blast we have just had on our first holiday alone together in 18 years now the kids are grown up and it was made by Becky and Alix, you will not experience better hospitality ANYWHERE on the island, and we have been there 20+ times over the years. This time last year we were lucky enough to have been there on this amazing couples opening night and 3 evenings ago we where there for their 1st anniversary party. Can’t wait to see them both in May and then be there for their second anniversary this time next year, and yes Bex, we’ll bring the bunting. Best bar in town! Becky and Alix provide an absolutely amazing service! The food is gorgeous and the drinks match the prices- out of this world! Would definitely recommend this bar to absolutely anyone! Sports on TV for all, entertainment is amazing on an evening.
Absolutely fantastic. We have a Bar/Cafe ourselves and Hair Of The Dog has very quickly become our haven away from our area.
Alix & Rebecca should be extremely proud of what they have achieved in such a short space of time!
The Girls have always been so genuinely friendly even well before they opened this fabulous venue.
Phil & I cannot fault one single thing. The home made baking, the breakfasts they serve and the welcoming atmosphere!

I have never been made more welcome, like been invited into a home and sitting around chatting which was great for me as a solo traveller. Such hard working ladies, 16hr days but nothing is too much trouble whether you are first customer of the day or the last - served with same enthusiasm and politenesses. Food is very good and accommodated my GF needs without issues. Definitely recommend a visit.
Staff here were amazing, friendly and so welcoming. Food was absolutely perfect! Cocktails were great, we tasted quite a few 🤣. Entertainment was fab! Can't wait to come back ladies!

We were staying at the Santa Maria Hotel but found this bar after seeing it on you tube. Becky and Alix are an amazing couple, and made us feel so welcome. They always found time to chat to us. Such a lovely couple. See you in March.
