So.... I visited again and the experience was equally as good as my first time. What a fantastic restaurant. This place deserves all the praise they get.
If you ever get a chance to visit, do it!
This is a nice tapas restaurant with some interesting twists.
1. The pintxo's they have are limited both in type and amount. We arrived at 7:15 and by 8 most of the pintxos were gone. They do not continually replace them like most pintxos restaurants.
2. The service is very good.
3. If you sit upstairs they have a series of films running on the wall which were Laurel and Hardy movies. Interesting to say the least.
4. Seating is comfortable and spacious.
5. Prices are fair.
Decent option but having been to some truly incredible pintxo bars in Barcelona several years ago I was vaguely disappointed in this restaurant.
Ca'n Pinxto is a must-try Tapas restaurant in Soller. The food is 'Pincho' style which is slightly smaller than Tapas portions, so you can sample more of their excellent dishes.
When we stopped by they were almost fully booked, but we were lucky to get a table outside for a couple of hours. The server was super sweet and friendly and explained the concept of the restaurant to us. You pick the cold stuff from inside, while you order the hot food via the server. We tried a bunch of different ones and they were all delicious and wonderfully presented. The highlights were a shrimp tempura with a Thai chili sauce, a pork tenderloin dish, another shrimp pincho with a kafir lime sauce, a salmon tartare that came in a crisp tortilla cone, and the yummy chocolate orange dessert. They also gave us some complimentary house brandy that was the perfect end to a perfect meal.
Creative food, friendly service and great outdoor seating - make sure to stop by this place if you find yourself in the area!
