La comida está súper buena y tiene platos muy originales - todo me encantó. El servicio súper amable y atento en todo momento, la verdad es que un gusto. La terraza es muy agradable y espaciosa. Lo bueno es que el sitio es bastante amplio y no se llena fácilmente.
Excelente! Restaurante abierto literalmente hace 4 días. Una propuesta diferente, saludable y de proximidad. Los protagonistas son los vegetales, pero siempre con opción de acompañarlos con pesacado o carne a elegir. Nos gustó mucho el concepto y por supuesto el servicio esmeradísimo como era de esperar. Sirven aperitivo, pan casero y aceite local riquísimo. Probamos: Peto ahumado, Arroz de Plancton, Cherne, Setas con huevo, Calamar y de postres Fondant de Chocolate. Nos gustaron todos los platos salvo el Fondant. Un fallo lo tiene cualquiera. La carta de vinos de proximidad es interesante aunque se va un poco en precio. Agua filtrada a precio de mineral. En mi opinion una de las mejores opciones actuales del Hotel!

Vine enamorada de Tenerife, del trato en el Hotel Ritz-Carlton Abama y especialmente nos sorprendió Jorge Domínguez, Chef del Restaurante VERDE MAR la creatividad de sus platos, la presentación, el buen trato a materias primas frescas de la zona, y la magnífica combinación de sabores nos hizo deleitarnos el paladar. No tiene nada que envidiar a Restaurantes con Estrellas Michelin. De hecho, si fuera por mi marido y yo, se la daríamos. 100% recomendable. El trato también profesional de los camareros, gracias a todos por hacernos sentir tan agusto, ojalá nos veamos pronto.

Sorprende lo mucho que se puede disfrutar de la verdura. Pedimos plátano, puerro y berenjena, y los tres deliciosos.
One of the great dining experiences you can have. Flavours throughout every piece offered and creative use of ingredients you would never consider matching. This is a restaurant you should visit twice on your holiday. Vegetarian, vegan or meat eater, you will be so so happy.
Excellent food and great service from our sever Marco. Never thought vegetables could be this delicious. All their food and wine is local produced and low carbon footprint. I recommend the: plátanos bravos (which is not in the photos), Chinese cabbage croquettes, beetroot and carrots, sweet potatoes gnocchis and the the higo pico cheese cake was just outstanding!!!
As vegetarians, there were a lot of really nice options here and the staff was really helpful in helping us identify how much we should be ordering and what options might be worthwhile. For 2 of us they recommended 2 smaller plates and 2 main meals. We ended up getting the bread starter, 2 smaller plates, 1 main, and 2 desserts and that was perfect. With the breads starter there was a nice aubergine cream/sauce with veggie chips, really enjoyed that! The bread with olive oil was nice too but more standard. As appetizer we got the Avovado, it's apperently a favorite. It was pretty good, essentially crispy bread you can use as chips with avo and pico on top. The Platano bravo was delicious and our favorite of the small dishes. We got the Roasted Caulfilower as our main dish and that was perfect to share, really great flavor. Last the desserts - the Apple Tatin was good but the cheesecake was amazing - light and fluffy with some seasonal fruit on the side, that was definitely a favorite. Overall nice experience (there is an outdoor terrace you can sit at) and really friendly staff. Loved the veggie forward options! Price is higher because of the experience and it being at the Ritz but was really enjoyable overall.
Do not sleep on Verde Mar as a dinner spot at the Ritz.
Food: The menu heavily features vegetables but does have the option for meat to be included as an accompaniment. You don't need meat to have a fantastic experience and meal at this restaurant.
There wasn't a tasting menu available when I ate at Verde Mar but that didn't stop me from sampling the menu.
Couple high notes: I loved the Chinese cabbage croquettes and THE MUSHROOMS. Oh my god, the mushrooms were AMAZING! I stilI dream about them. Local wines!
