We had a late lunch today at Mumbai Masala in PdC, being attended by Sabi.
His level of English is quite good, so we could discuss our "dietary requirements" very well and he went out of his way to come up with great menu recommendations.
One of us wanted the spiciest meal on the menu and got what she asked for (No 54, really delicious!). Another one can't eat any kind of wheat, grains or sugar and likes a medium level of spice. He acknowledged on his behalf that the complementary rice bread with sauces we got was "only for one lady" and gave us some insights on the Indian kitchen.
Our mains were awesome - we brought along riced cauliflower with tumeric seasoning and asked if we could have that with our meals (because one of us can't eat rice etc.) and he was fine with that.
As the place wasn't crowded, he and his colleague had time to chat with us and even tried the cauliflower rice and liked it.
We suggested to put it on the menu for people on a ketogenic diet etc and they want to give it a thought.
All in all, we had 5 drinks, 3 mains, 1 normal rice and 2 naans and the bill was 45 Euros. Fantastic! All was delicious, service outstanding. We will definitely be back! And hope they add the riced coliflower to their sides menu! Thank you very much for a great meal and more.
Was best meal all holiday food was brill even the free poppadoms me and my husband had the tandoori sizzler curry garlic rice chapati oinon bargee and there was enough to feed 4 staff were nice would highly recommend

Visited this Indian last night staff were helpful and friendly. Food was amazing we both really enjoyed our meals..will definetly have another meal. Would recommend if you enjoy Indian food.

This wonderful, friendly restaurant always delivers excellent quality delicious food with a good balance of flavours and spice. Our favourite Indian restaurant on the island. Highly recommended.
I had the Sirloin Steak and it was cooked to perfection... the sides were simply mouth watering.. all in all we had an absolutely savage meal.. well done to the chef and staff ...
Decided to try this place last minute and how glad we were that we did. Wonderful setting, great service and amazing food. Try the onion bahjis and paneer pakora they are they best. Be back soon
Wonderful food :-) Not like the vast majority of Indian restaurants when you're abroad which are generally pretty poor and unauthentic (unless you're in India ;-)) Would definitely recommend
This is the second time we've visited Mumbai Masala, this week and last summer.
Both times have been 5star, from the booking to leaving; everything was excellent.
Beautiful food, top quality ingredients and busy staff not too busy to chat.
Will visit again next week before heading home.
Ps - Priced right, for 2 people, inc popadoms, starters, 2 K/Prawn courses and a good bottle of wine €50.

Restaurante hindú con comida típica.
Tiene también otros platos más habituales.
La comida que pedimos estaba bastante buena, mucho sabor como acostumbra a ser la comida de este tipo. El servicio muy rápido y amables, aunque de primeras te entran hablando en inglés , que por otra parte es medio lógico viendo el cliente medio.
Recomiendo saber un poco sobre comida hindú para que al leer la carta no te quedes igual como fue mi caso, aunque ellos también te asesoran si se lo pides.
A las 2230 ya nos decían que nos diéramos algo de prisa en pedir que la cocina cerraba.
Comida muy rica y económica. Vine por recomendación y no me ha decepcionado para nada
Para repetir sin duda, calidad precio excelente, limpio,bonita decoración,te aconsejan sobre qué pedir, volveré seguro,los chicos son super amables.
Fuimos a comer con la familia el último día de vacaciones en Lazarote.
Nos atendieron con gran amabilidad y en español ( en esa zona pocos camareros hablan el idioma) por lo que se agradece.
El camarero nos recomendó que pedir, la comida estaba muy buena y los platos salieron con gran rapidez.

Todo delicioso y el sitio es muy bonito por dentro. Muy recomendable
La primera vez que lo visitamos quede impresionada por lo rico que estaba todo, desde entonces no vamos a otro Hindu que no sea este. Los precios son altos, siempre pagamos bastante pero esta rico. Los camareros son muy amables, van a su ritmo así que no esperes ser atendido muy rápido. Entre que traigan las bebidas suelen tardar en aparecer para tomarte nota de la comida. Suelen sugerir que se pida algún que otro plato de mas pero en nuestro caso nunca ha hecho falta. A veces pero no siempre la comida tarda un poco en salir. Vale la pena esperar.
Atmósfera muy agradable. Estuvimos cenando y después de probar muchos restaurantes indios, este es el que más nos gusta. Servicio muy atento y platos bien cocinados. Calidad y precio van de la mano.
Restaurante indio en pleno paseo de la playa. Esta bien ambientado y el servicio es bueno. Cenamos bastante bien y el precio es más o menos el de todos los restaurantes de este tipo. Calidad/precio/servicio está bastante bien
La única pega que podría poner es que no admiten reservas. La comida está de lujo, el camarero que sabe español super amable, rápidos, atentos,... Muy buen sitio.
Servicio excelente. Ellos nos recomendaron un menú perfecto para ser la primera vez que probabamos la comida hindú, y nos encantó.
Bien de precio.
