I help out at the house of Tormos in Orba occasionally, and I eat there often. I just love the whole experience. I say experience, as that is what it is, the food is great, but that’s only part of it, it’s the decoration, the artwork, the cheerful service, the ambience and the people you meet that all add up to a wonderful culinary experience. So if you want some thing special, I highly recommend this restaurant. My personal favourite is Friday night, Its so chilled and stylish. I had the Hake and it was amazing, I also recommend any of Michaels pasta dishes. The steaks are obscenely delicious. So often in Spain I find desserts a bit of a let down, but not here. I would go just for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It is a bit more expensive than your average Orba restaurant but you get so much more for the little extra you pay ….. and why not treat yourself once in a while . It’s also a great place for a business lunch on Monday if you want to impress anyone.

What a hidden gem!. Not much to see from the outside, but we gave it a go on a Friday night when most other places were already closed (!) We were greeted by a lovely man who noted that my Spanish was not native and asked if I spoke English, as he was. We opted to sit outside in a nicely presented courtyard and he set our table up with a cloth, amenities and complimentary fizz! We had a look over the menu and couldn't resist the tapas and glass of house wine offer at 12 Euros a head. The wine was pretty decent for a house and actually one of the better glasses we had drank on our whole trip. We thought that three small tapas each might not be enough so added a bruschetta to the mix. How wrong we were, the portions were so generous that as soon as I saw them I knew I wouldn't finish my meal! Everything was cooked beautifully and to order, the spicy bravas/meatball sauce was so tasty and so much better than many of the traditional Spanish restaurants we had and have visited in Spain. Our server was very attentive, very friendly and it really felt like he loved his craft. When it was time to clear away our defeat we had a brief chat with our server, Graham, who is one of the owners with his partner as the chef in the kitchen. We were so surprised it wasn't busier here as the food and ambience were top quality. The cherry on the cake was that our bill was only 30 Euros, which is an absolute steal for what we had. Well done chaps, if we are ever in the area again we will be sure to seek you out!

Such a fantastic restaurant and a real Gem for the village of Orba! Food is always plentiful, tasty and beautiful presented. The restaurant itself is stunning and the interior and ambiance is just class👌 Great menu choices with a nice tapas offer which is a favourite on a Friday night accompanied with great wine ,ideal for the summer evenings. They have a lovely courtyard at the rear of the building with nice tables and chairs and also tasteful decorated to complement the restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and the service is top notch!

It's quiet on a Monday lunchtime but very welcoming. Very little vegetarian options on the menu but Michael cooked up a huge plate of roast veg and homemade chips. I don't know why it wasn't on the menu. It was delicious.

My husband and I went to Tormos house today for the first time and it definitely won’t be the last . First class in every way . The service was exceptional , we were served by a friendly and professional waiter . We were greeted at the door and asked where we would prefer to sit . We chose the terrace which is very pretty and immediately given an ice cold glass of cava each . The set menu had a good amount of options but we both chose the seafood cocktail to start and the roast beef main course , then the traditional sherry trifle. All courses were very tasty and plentiful and nicely presented . Coffee was also included as well as a carafe of wine . All in all a lovely experience in a gorgeous environment . Thanks very much guys we will be back very soon .

Going to the Tormos House Orba for Sunday lunch is just a wonderful experience. Graeme and Michael are so welcoming along with their lovely staff and the food is fabulous and plentiful! The ambience is so lovely and I just couldn’t recommend it highly enough! It is my most favourite place to eat in the entire North Costa Blanca! A total hidden gem! ☺️

A warm welcome everytime we visit this exquisite restaurant. The varied menu has something to suit all palates and has different options each time we visit. On entering the unassuming front door, you are led through to the rear garden, a real suntrap full of established specimen plants and charming features which resembles the secret gardens often found in the movies, you are served a glass of bubbles and berries or ice cold beer while you peruse the menu and place your order. The dining room is beautifully decorated with interesting artworks all around. The food is expertly prepared and presented by Michael and the portions are huge, sometimes too much, but tastes so good you just can't stop eating. The House at Tormos is by far my most favourite restaurant and well worth travelling to

Lovely house and garden. We were 7 on a Sunday and we had a really excellent and beautifully cooked lunch. 25 euro price really did include everything from welcoming glass of cava to coffee. Thoroughly recommended. You do need to recognise that it's totally English.

House at Tormos Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Its a wonderful place with excellent food and service, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. It's a really lovely, special VIP experience for an amazing price. Can't say enough good things about it. We went into a time warp. I have never been in a restaurant for so long but the time went really quickly. Just the right amount of time between courses. 10/10. Will definately return. Thankyou all.
