Totally recommend everything about The Courtyard Cafe. The best coffee, beers, wine etc. Not forgetting Clare’s Strawberry Milkshakes. A varied menu and Miguel’s American pancakes a must. All the staff are great, such a friendly atmosphere. Thank you Clare and Miguel.
Cosy little hidden cafe in the Zoco, such a hidden gem. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Decor is very cute. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cafe in the area.

Hidden gem - found this place a week in to our holiday- just wish it had been sooner. Fab food - atmosphere and of course service ! Claire has found the perfect recipe for the 'courtyard'- and the lemon drizzle cake is to die for.

I love this place! We arrived on an unseasonably rainy day to a warm welcome, despite our dripping umbrellas. It combines the best of British and Spanish cuisine.
Coffee: Spanish style (strong and aromatic)
Bacon buttie: UK style (served on a tasty baguette with ketchup)
Highly recommended. We'll be back :)

A little gem of a cafe ! The food was lovely and the service from Clare always warn, friendly and professional. Miguel may be a Spanish chef but he knows how to make a brilliant full English breakfast. His homemade burgers are spot on too ! Highly recommended.

We came upon The Courtyard Cafe by chance, soon after arriving at our nearby accommodation late in the evening. With young children, we needed to find somewhere to eat and, more importantly, drink, and I spotted it up the road. Although the kitchen was closing when we got there, Claire and Miguel were so kind and welcoming and made sure we could eat. Miguel even rustled up the most delicious chilli cheese nachos there and then - interrupting his own nachos!! Nothing was too much trouble. We all (and especially our daughters!) fell in love with this place, and we returned twice more during our week’s holiday. Each time we were greeted by the lovely, smiling friendly Claire - very chatty and an invaluable source of local holiday knowledge. Food was always of a high standard and very reasonably priced and the coffee was great. The hospitality amazing! The Courtyard Cafe is a very good reason to return to the area.
It is a little gem of a cafe...now it is open in the mornings for lovely breakfasts ..everything we have had was excellent.
El café estaba justo al lado del lugar al que íbamos, el polideportivo de Nerja por lo que acudimos a él a menudo. Es un café inglés de muy buen precio y buen servicio. Muy recomendable, el personal muy agradable y atento. Los horarios de apertura y de comida son ingleses.
Siempre que vengo a Nerja no puede faltar un brunch aquí.
Buena relación calidad precio para brunch. Gran variedad y platos muy bien elaborados. Recomiendo los huevos benedict.
Los zumos tienen muy buenos sabores.

Un lugar tranquilo y alejado del bullicio de Nerja. Me encanta la atmósfera y los desayunos con su toque inglés están muy bien. Lo recomiendo. En desayuno inglés + café por 5€. Super bien de precio. Y los camarer@s muy agradables.
Nos encontramos con el sitio de casualidad y fue una gran sorpresa. El desayuno inglés estaba muy bueno y la presentación muy limpia (también limpiaron la mesa y las sillas antes de sentarnos). Además el cafe estaba tambien muy bueno y la atención fue rápida y cordial.
Muy buen sitio, y además lo tengo al lado de mi casa.
Cada domingo mi desayuno es aquí, muy recomendable.
