We went in every night for drinks and the staff were lovely. Very friendly English lady, knew everything about the menu. Helped us on other places as well. On our final night we had a beautiful meal of meat sharing platter. The prawn lattice with leak sauce starter was absolutely gorgeous.
Definitely recommend this place for drinks, food or both.
We had dinner here and was surprised to meet Jorge who we know from past years at the nerja gym. The resto is fantastic. The food is great the drinks are the best in town and the service is impeccable. Also, amazing value for your money given that it's 100 yards from the beach.
I would recommend this to anyone and given that I'm here every year, I consider this one of my best finds in nerja.

Lovely place! Came to Nerja at the beginning of June on a family holiday! We came to this bar/restaurant most nights, we all loved it!

We dined here last night with twin 10month olds and a 3 year old, most establishments frown when they see the double buggy but the staff at Calypso51 couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. No hassle fitting in buggy, bouncing castle to entertain my 3yr old and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

What a fantastic bar!
We had our daughter and son in laws post wedding reception here on the 30th July 2017. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The food was amazing and the bouncy castle for the children was brilliant.
The staff were exceptional in particular, the bar owner, and Tess!
We especially loved the Gastro51 gin cocktail they made for us!
It was a brilliant end to a brilliant three days of celebrations!

We ate there on our second to last night - service was great, food delicious and staff brilliant. Lovely ambience, decided to eat there again on our last night and again had a great evening. Reasonable pricing for such good quality meals.
Een plek waar je je meteen op je gemak voelt en oprecht als klant bediend wordt. Cocktails zijn super en eten is er voortreffelijk. Voldoende keuze en een creatieve manier van opdienen van de gerechten. Restaurant en terras lopen in elkaar over en vormen 1 geheel. Aankleding is precies wat het restaurant nodig heeft. Niet te veel en zeker niet te weinig. Ga zelf maar eens kijken dat weet je precies wat we bedoelen.

Un lugar muy agradable para cenar. Cenamos mi marido y yo aquí y para repetir! Precioso local con música de ambiente ideal. Excelente servicio. Se nota que es familiar y tiene mucho amor puesto en él. Cenamos muy bien. Los precios no eran elevados, cenamos unas chips de camarones y pescado del día (corvina) a la plancha. De postre una tarta de queso de cítricos + cerveza especial y coma de tinto. Nos salió a 40€. Repetiremos seguro. Lo recomiendo de verdad.
Llegamos a las 23:00 y no esperabamos ni que estuviese la cocina abierta.
Nos atenderieron encantados y y muy rápidamente.
La comida estaba muy buena y las hamburguesas son una delicatessen lo unico pedirla al punto o poco hecha.
El pollo teriyaki muy bueno también.
Para terminar nos adentramos en el mundo de los cócteles con una piña colada y un buen sex on the beach (jeje)
Muy frescos y baratitos

Wirklich sehr gemütliche Bar zum abends kurz etwas Trinken (siehe Fotos). Das Essen haben wir nicht probiert, hat aber akzeptabel ausgesehen. Der Service ist ein wenig unaufmerksam, aber das ist in Nerja überall so. Dafür waten alle freundlich. Der weisse und der rote Sangria sind fein und die Auswahl an alkoholischen Getränken ist gut.
P.S. Ich habe viele Restaurants und Chiringuitos am Burriana Beach bewertet - einfach mal aufs Profil schauen.

Bar realmente muy acogedor para tomar una copa por la noche (ver fotos). No probamos la comida, pero parecía aceptable. El servicio es un poco descuidado, pero en Nerja es así en todas partes. Si te preguntas donde comer en Nerja, Calypso 51 es uno de los mejores restaurantes de Nerja, buena comida , buen precio y servicio inmejorable.

Buen sitio para comer, alejado lo suficiente del bullicio de la playa de Burriana, y al lado del parking público que hay por la zona. La comida estaba bastante buena, y los cócteles en vaso grande y muy buenos también. Buena atención y buen precio. La terraza exterior cubierta esta decorada con un estilo muy familiar y agradable. Recomendable sin duda.
Un lugar absolutamente recomendable. El servicio estupendo, el ambiente y la decoración muy bueno. Y respecto a la comida, todo muy rico y destaco la hamburguesa Angus: de las mejores que he probado en muchos años.

Comimos 9 personas, un lugar acogedor, muy tranquilo y bonito.
Con un trato exquisito, ademas tiene menu, por si no quieres carta.
Uno de los comensales era celiaco, y aunque no tienen nada especifico para ellos, pudimos comer todos, puesto que nos ofrecieron algunas opciones interesantes.

Descubrimos este restaurante por casualidad, y ha sido una sorpresa muy agradable. Tomamos paella mixta, exquisita, con pescado fresco delicioso, y el arroz justo en su punto. Con la paella para 2 personas, comen 4. De postre coulant, totalmente recomendable. Un servicio muy atento y profesional. Volveremos sin duda.

Un sitio encantador con una carta muy original. Puedes notar la estupenda atencion del personal que se preocupa por sus clientes y la cuidadosa calidad de la comida.
Tomamos el ceviche con mango, el pato y el black angus y todo estaba buenisimo! Para volver!
