The whole experience of being in the place was fantastic. Jason was so lovely and the whole concept of making your own choloclate bars for exactly the same price as buying any 3 of the pre-made bars is brilliant. I know this is an over used phase nowadays but, I can't recommend them enough.

We popped in for ice cream after our evening meal and it was the perfect end to the evening. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and the ice cream is to die for! My husband is not as addicted as I am to good ice cream but even he had to admit his coconut ice cream was wonderful.
Most delicious, health conscious, ethical & most of all FRIENDLY 'treats' place we have been.... Gluten-free, dairy free options & seriously yummy! Highly recommend a visit <3 Please come to Northern Ireland guys!! :)
Don't go to Mijas and miss a visit to this shop! It's the most delightful tasting chocolate. And we all loved making our own personal bars to bring home too - such fun to do 'as a family' and you can never be disappointed - it's chocolate after all!!! Don't be put off if hv allergies / they are the most helpful shop ever :)
We visited today after a friend recommended. We had an amazing time and kids really enjoyed being able to make their own chocolate.
Staff was excellent from the start explaining what they would be doing. Whilst my wife and kids were making the chocolate i tried the ice cream. Big thumbs up for the Baileys and Cheesecake flavors.
I started talking to Jason the owner after seeing someone had bought the personalised story books and I was so impressed with the idea and quality of the books and you could see how proud he was of them of which he should be. Bought 2 for both my kids and these are so great and something they can always keep to remember their trip so would highly recommend to everyone.
Will visit again if we are ever in the area.

Brought the kids on a sunny tuesday afternoon. Great little place, friendly staff and nice chocolate. Although the course is very quick, the kids enjoyed the pace and to decorate their chocolate bars, and while waiting had ice cream with pieces of chocolate. Callum is great, very service minded and I sent my girlfriend and her friend with kids the next day, who also had a great time. Will be back again and of course recommend the place to my friends.

A brilliant place to visit for children and adults alike. All staff are extremely welcoming and Jason’s passion for his business is infectious. The chocolate and ice cream is outstanding.
If you are ever fortunate enough to make it to Mijas, do yourself a huge favor and visit this place. This place is fantastic. Such an amazing group of people work there. We felt welcomed and appreciated. There classes were so much fun. Absolutely take one. They are super family friendly too. Now I just have to figure out a way to get back here soon. Taking a lot of their yummy chocolate back with me until I can return for more. Can I buy this stuff online? Please? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Loved the museum too.
This was my 2nd visit for the hour long chocolate making. Last year with family this year with my 3 oldest friends.

We all had great fun making our own chocolate bars yeaterday and the staff are all so friendly. Great with the kids and a nice way to get out of the sun for half an hour.

Hemos estado hoy visitando la tienda y haciendo un taller (uno en el que haces tres tabletas de chocolate) y es una experiencia absolutamente recomendable. He estado con mis dos hijos, de 2 y 4 años, y hemos salido todos encantados con la experiencia. El personal tremendamente atento y amable y el chocolate que han hecho los niños y nos hemos podido llevar a casa, está delicioso, se nota la buena materia prima con la que trabajan y la calidad del chocolate.
Sin duda, para repetir y probar más talleres. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo de Mayan Monkey.

Gracias Adrián por tu amabilidad y tu simpatía. Cogimos la experiencia de 15 minutos y pudimos hacer 3 tabletas. El chocolate buenísimo y además dispones de un montón de toppings para escoger.
Mención especial a Carmen que también andaba por allí y fue la guinda del pastel.

Un lugar excelente, 100% recomendable. Elaboración artesanal, ecológica y responsable. Tienen una gran variedad de chocolates y helados de elaboración propia con un sabor muy bueno. Compran los granos en lugares donde saben que no hay explotación infantil ni abusos laborales y utilizan productos ecológicos. También puedes preparar tus propios chocolates en la fabrica!!! Tienen un pequeño museo con la explicación de como preparan el chocolate, magnífico lugar!
Un lugar mágico para los amantes del chocolate.Visita perfecta,la chica te explica todo con mucho cariño y detalle .Y fuera todo un mundo para comprar toda una degustación de chocolates.
Y lo más importante el chocolate procede de la República Dominicana para no colaborar con la explotación infantil,🤎🤎
Me llamo Susana Martín y esta mañana los alumnos y profesores del colegio Mayfair Academy hemos tenido el placer de visitar esta fábrica de chocolate, la experiencia ha sido fantástica, limpieza, trato impecable, bonito y lo más importante: delicioso chocolate. No duden en visitarlo y poder disfrutar de la experiencia.
Chocolateria artesana en una esquina de la plaza de mijas, puesta con mucho gusto. Teniendo chocolates negros,blancos,y con leche; con una infinidad de combinaciones: naranja, gindilla, jengibre, canela.... Muy original la oferta y el trato magnífico; dándote a degustar de las distintas variedades. Nosotros optamos por negro con guindilla, con leche, naranja y guindilla y con leche y canela.
Buenísimos.
Hemos asistido con 54 alumnos. Todo muy bien organizado, muy divertido y recomendable 100%. Hemos realizado un taller de tabletas de chocolate y estamos deseando probarlas. Además todo muy limpio.
Probablemente de los mejores helados que hemos probado.
El personal encantador y atento, ya que nos daba a probar cualquier sabor que quisiéramos.
Da gusto ir a sitios así. Muy muy recomendable.
