I just left this review of Cugo Gran on Trip Advisor:
Perfection from start to finish. My wife and I originally booked for 6 days and had planned to move to another hotel on the other side of the island... We stayed for the full 11 days at Cugo.
It was our first visit to Menorca and Cugo. We will definitely be back. The location of Cugo is fantastic, close to the airport (but no noise), close to Majhon, surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding countryside, stunning sunsets, many fantastic and quite beaches nearby (we used the hotels mountain bikes one day to get to the beach) and close to the main island highway to access the rest of the stunning island.
We would recommend hiring a car, we used Hyper cars, they were great.
We loved everything about Cugo but the standout things for us were; the friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff (they all spoke many languages), courteous and detailed service, the superb fine dining (seeing the chef collect fresh eggs, veg and herbs directly from the grounds is wonderful), wine and cocktail list, the manicured grounds, relaxing infinity pool area, the stylish, comfortable and immaculate rooms, the nature (Tortoise/turtles, Gecko's, Donkey's, birds, etc.) and the comprehensive facilities.
Both my wife and I commented several times how Cugo would make a fantastic private wedding venue or an exclusive venue for a family or group. A home from home!
A huge thank you to Toby, Tamsin and the whole team at Cugo you played a huge part in making our holiday perfection.

Very very beautiful resort! Everything was great and exclusive! Very delicious breakfast in an amazing surrounding. Staff very kind. Presidential suite amazing! Top location to have relax in Menorca. Highly recommended!

Hemos estado alojados mi pareja y yo durante cuatro días, la experiencia ha sido de lo más agradable y satisfactoria que se puede esperar, un hotel con un encanto especial que a pesar de encontrarse en la campiña Menorquina se encuentra realmente cerca del aeropuerto, de Mahón y de las calas del sur. Estuvimos alojados en la casa principal, las habitaciones son amplias y acogedoras con vistas incluso al mar, la piscina es maravillosa, los desayunos impresionantes y la cocina de buen nivel pero lo realmente diferenciador es todo el personal que te hace sentir un privilegiado en todo momento y que es lo que realmente marca la diferencia en este establecimiento. Volveremos, gracias.

We spent 2 days here to check out this beautiful location for weddings and it’s really amazing. The place is lovely and everything is perfect and made with love and passion. The food is star quality. Also the own wine is a culinary experience. The people working here are lovely and do all to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. This place is lovely and very exclusive for a wedding or any other special party or time out you want to enjoy.
Everything about this place is stunning: the immaculate surroundings, beautiful, well thought through rooms and decor, absolutely delicious food and really friendly, welcoming staff. Even the playlist in the restaurant was so perfect, that I kept checking what song it was so I can listen to it when I come back home. What I loved most is the nature and the absolute peace and quiet - this is truly special when you live in a busy city. We had the best sleep here in ages, the bed, the sheets, the peace and quiet - everything made us feel so relaxed! We came back fully recharged, rested and already dreaming of coming back to Cugó Gran. What a place!
This beautifully renovated farmhouse is the perfect location for your island get away. The rooms are terrific, the food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the views are picturesque. We started our week in Menorca at another hotel that was full of problems, and the this place saved our vacation.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. Nous avons adoré toutes les prestation proposées par l’hotel. . L’ensemble du personnel est juste top, ouvert, à l’écoute et a su nous recommander les magnifiques endroits de Minorque. Adresse à recommander les yeux fermés.

We spent four amazing days there and hope to be able to go back someday. Everything was great and it will be hard to even want leave the premises while you are there.
