This was the perfect breakfast spot! They were quick and very fresh. They didn't serve lunch until 12. So going at 11:30, we just ate a late breakfast, but the food was amazing. Great coffee, fresh squeezed juice, and amazing bread. They had an english menu as well which was extra helpful!

Love the duck confit, couscous and canonigos salad is out of this world, highly recommended and well located by paseo del Prado. Customer service sucks a little but in general Spain has bad customer service, focus on finding quality food and you will be fine.

Great place to grab a bite after the Prado. It's in a quiet area--seems like a million miles from Ritiro or Puerta del Sol. Good mix of fish selections, and land based foods. As with most small restaurants, there is only one server, so the service is slow. But food and sangria are good!

Coffee by the park. It was nice to sit outside on a warm spring day sipping on cafe con leche. The interior has an interesting look to it. Service was friendly enough. The coffee was some of the best that I had in Madrid.

Ahhh such a good group of staff here. There's a breakfast time, a break between 12-1pm, then the kitchen reopens at 1pm. The restaurant is opened during break for coffee, but the kitchen doesn't make food. I prefer restaurants that stay open even if kitchen is closed, at least I can sit for coffee. You know how Madrid restaurants don't accurately put their hours online... ahhh Both coffee and the food were good! I had the mushroom risotto, a bit salty but flavourful. And everyone is so kind here. You do have to pay for bread (on the side) though, for about 0,50€

WOW. Best meal we have had in Spain. The risotto was amazing. The bread was awesome. We may just eat the rest of our meals in Madrid here

A well done corner spot located a little ways from Del Prado. Great spot for brunch! If you're like us and need your eggs for breakfast this spot gets the job done and done well! The Goat Cheese balls are an interesting take on Goat Cheese and we recommend them. The Brie Bread with caramelized onions was spot on as well. For our eggs we went with the salmon/ truffle combo. All dishes were spot on and we couldn't have asked for more.

Came here after visiting the Prado. It's located on a nice quite street between the Prado and Parque de Retiro. It was nice to rest my legs, nourish my tummy and get some fresh air. I only ordered one tapa - goat cheese with caramelized onions and salmon. It was quite tasty! The service was quite fast too, though I came right at 8 pm on a Saturday, which I don't think is a busy time. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 was I was expecting the dish to come warm.

We came here after visiting the Prado Museum (5min walk). Interior sports an organic ambiance. English menu available though staff speaks very little so best if you know a few basic Spanish words. It was eight and their kitchen was about to close so we ordered a few simple items - Spanish omelette, curry rice with chicken, spinach salad with feta cheese and Iberian jamon. The salad was surprisingly good. It was a bed of baby spinach with a variety of fresh ingredients on top and the dressing was light. Refreshing after eating quite a bit of paella since we were one week into our Spain trip. Curry rice and chicken is just ok. Omelette was simple and hearty because of potatoes mushed inside. My son enjoyed this. And the meat was tasty. We saw locals eat here, not that many tourists. Though that could be the timing because tourists eat early and locals eat late. Recommend for anyone interested in something different than bacadillo and paella. For context we were tourists from California.

Three reasons why our meal here stands out - tasty sangria - manchego cheese - quirky/cool bathrooms And a bonus reason - sidewalk seating just steps from the park

Great atmosphere and location. The food was also really tasty. The service was kind of impersonal and it was very slow to get our check after we asked, but that is sometimes expected in Spain.

Certainly a pleasant change after all the days of having "traditional" Spanish cuisine. Found this place refreshing in presenting some pretty interesting modern tapas style dishes beautifully presented. Found some interesting new flavours (for me at least). Would recommend people try the "Crispy balls of goats cheese" and let me know what they thought. I've never quite tasted anything like them and thought it was a treat for the tastebuds (hence my association with it being a Michelin-worthy restaurant). Basically new experiences for the tastebuds.. Give it a go and see what you think.

Great food! Each of the tapas and entrees we tried were delicious and well presented. The sangria was also good. Nice location across from the Real Jardin Botanico and around the corner from Museo del Prado, without being overly touristy or crowded.
