If karaoke is your thing than the News Cafe is definitely the place for you. No nonsense, get on with it and get the singers on. Richard (one of the hosts) will give you a cracking evening and you can even dare him to sing your song of choice himself if you are not a singer (brave fellow). Highly recommended 5*
Karaoke hosts Kerry and Christian were both fantastic, as were Kev and all the staff. Perfect bar for a family with grown up kids (ours are 19 & 24!)
What a fab time we had here. Regina and co. made us so welcome....making us feel part of a something a little special, which is what this place is. Right down to the customers....we all got to know each other, making great friends and memories. And to top it off our Joe!! Hilariously funny, he has a great rapport and is just one of life's nice people....like everyone in The News Cafe. Take care everyone, hope to see you all next year, you all did my heart good!!!! ������

Absolutely loved it in here. Had such a laugh. Karaoke was fun and the staff made everyone feel welcome. Somewhere you can let your hair and no one gives you funny looks

Nice little bar, chilled laid back, great cocktails for a very reasonable price, 6 euro's !! Bud lager was around 3 or 4 euro's as well so a cheap night, there was also artist's on, they were ok and you could get a singalong going but they are what they are pub singers but ok, there is also a Karaoke singer on from 9 till 10, then the artist for an hour then Karaoke again till just after midnight, sit inside or outside as there's a big screen to watch the singing anyway
Really nice place. Drinks are reasonable, staff service is brilliant and it has karaoke and plays sports too.

We visited a few times during our holiday. A chilled place to watch the football and great prices for the drinks. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and create such a welcoming environment.
A great place to stop and have a drink or have a meal. When I visited they were no longer doing food but they were happy to cook up some chips for us which was much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful and a live singer came on whilst I was there. A great place to stop when on your way home, just far enough away from the lovely bars that are next to the beach. Good value for money too.
A great little bar which has been fully refurbished and is run by a most friendly and welcoming family, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent service from all the staff and spotlessly clean. Good karaoke 🎤.

Just returned home, we spent some great evenings here, special thanks to Jason, Aidy and all the staff here, saw and heard some great tribute acts and even joined in the karaoke, poor people having to listen to us attempt that. Thank you for a lovely time on several nights, all the best to you all, and will see you again in the future.
