La verdad que no me lo esperaba, pensaba que era un bar para bebe y cuando probe la comida me sorprendió, muy buena calidad precio.
Y el servicio muy atento y simpático. Sin duda lo recomiendo y sin duda volveré pronto.
Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. Recommend you to book a table as it gets filled up quickly! Apple crumble was divine as well!
The accidental tourist! We went out for a hike along one of the great rambling routes in the area, paying a visit to the village on a whim, as we realised it had been about 5 years since our last one, despite not living that far. Seeing Sunday Roast advertised at The Thirsty Goat, our stomachs said it was "that time of day", although to be honest a little dubious about the possibility as so many Sunday roast joints have come and gone along the coast. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
GO - EAT. The Yorkshire puddings were criminally fabulous (large, crispy, just oh so very right). My beef was melt in your mouth, my partners lamb shank just fell off the bone. The veggies had adequate bite, and the cauliflower cheese, mashed and roasted potatoes made the dish very complete. Gravy served in a separate jug is always a winner - I know I am not alone in liking to pour my own, just where I want. And, there was more than enough of enough-ness for both of us.
Apple crumble, which had oatie-goodness, I am sure. If not something marvellous was done to give the crumble a great crunch. Accompanied by custard (I think it should be law ;) ) but there is the option of ice-cream or cream (I think!).
Something lemony, moussey, biscuity, was my partners choice. Of course it had a name, I just can't remember. I do know he scrapped the dish clean.
Lovely staff, great atmosphere, fabulous play list at just the right volume to not hinder conversation. We spied the TV screens, so imagine the evenings may be a little different (noisier!)
Excellent in every way friendly host food was superb especially the Patatas Bravas with Chorizo just outstanding. Highly recommended and good value for money we will be back.
Amazing food, tapas made quick with freshest produce. Top marks to the chef. Owner very friendly service with a smile and happy to accommodate. A real hidden gem in the mountains. Glady go there anytime whether for food or a few drinks. Thankyou
Haven't had any food but had a great night there! Really cozy little pub in the center of Benahavis
Great bar/restaurant in Benahavis. Really warm welcome and great service from all the staff. Food is awesome. Will be back again later this week!
Just finished one of the tastiest roast lunches I've ever had. Great service, fantastic food and a perfect seat out on the terrace.
Fab spot. Great food and talas dishes. Really friendly staff. Super atmosphere. Great prices. Just go!
Best Patatas Bravas in town. Better than The Fig in Rustington.
