As far as hotel bars go, this one is worth checking out. They have some cool activities here, decent local cuisine (and cheeseburgers and the like), as well as local beers and wines. We came a few times on our 10 day stay in this hotel. Come during beer hour! They have a pretty good deal every night...
We were in search of dinner on our first night in Barcelona. Super tired from the trip, we wanted a place not too far from the hotel. We settled on the Wolf Tavern. Glad we did. Everything we had was pretty tasty. We ordered two mojitos- because we saw another lady order one and it looked great! We weren't disappointed. They use brown sugar, lots of mint and lots of lime. Perfect!!! We also ordered iberico ham croquettas, goat cheese pizza, and a cheese burger with fries. The croquettas were sooooo good. The burger and fries were also pretty tasty. The pizza was good, but not our favorite of the meal. Overall we enjoyed everything- especially the mojitos! Kind of want another one now.
Try the Gin Fizz. It is delightful. And the goat cheese pizza comes with large chunks of goat cheese. The staff speaks "good" English if that is your language of choice. Freedom for the Catalan people!!!!
