Good vibe very nice. Pulled pork had the flavor of bbq but wasn't saturated in sauce which I liked. Nachos were perfect after a long day-- very filling
If you're looking for a variety of beer styles without a menu so large that deciding is a struggle, Garage has what you need! They do keep with the trends (does Spain even have traditional beer styles to brew?) so you'll find the unavoidable hypehaze IPAs, DIPAs and TIPAs that infest every American brewery menu, along with refreshing berlinerweisse and gose style beers and more, with a good rotation of offerings. The berlinerweisse we had was perfect for the Barcelona heat!
The space is narrow but long, with seating from bar chairs to comfy couches extending back from the small bar area. It's also done up in that fashionably spare style (but the art is good; even the women's WC has great murals!) so things can get loud when it's busy. Limited food service is also available if you find yourself getting snacky; prices on the beers and food were quite reasonable for the neighbourhood. If you're looking for casual but creative beer in Barcelona, swing by Garage!
I'm a huge craft beer geek from Southern California and was told by a friend to visit Garage Brewing while in Barcelona on holiday. I was so impressed with their beers that I bought a souvenir pint glass (for 2 euro!!!) and brought it home.
Great quality, diverse offerings (I had a session porter, session IPA, and hazy IPA), and great conversation with staff. I visited a few other breweries and "craft beer bars" while in Barcelona and none of their offerings compare to what Garage is pouring. Bonus points for cozy/hip atmosphere.
You can definitely tell the people here care about the quality of beer they produce, and I will definitely be coming back to Garage next time we visit!
